My thinking is that we try to figure out what are all the available sources for:
- Articles and thoughts prompted by them
- Catch stats
- List of RFMO Performance Reviews
- Price stats
- Fleet stats
- CPUE stats
- These would include both broad sites (FAO, UNStat, EuroStat, OECDStat, atuna, and the like) as well as more specific and geographically/substantively limited sites (CCSBT, ICCAT, IOTC, etc. sites, to the extent they aren’t just a subset of FAO data).
For now, I think its better to identify the “meta-data” on sites (indicators, countries, and years covered) so we can compare coverage, quality, etc. before starting to download and merge datasets.
